History has shown us that even with the best intentions, things can go wrong. For example, look at the NBA lockout. Both sides have been coming to the negotiating table for months trying to convince the other that they have the best solution. The lockout is now in its 5th month with no end in sight.

In my house, we have a different set of negotiating that is never ending: what to watch on TV. We do not watch TV on Saturdays because of the Sabbath so we are relegated to watching TV on Sundays. I decided to sign up for a boot camp class after my 3rd week at the gym. I was pretty satisfied with my workout results thus far (6 pounds) and I thought I would give my body that little extra oomph. I had heard all these stories about boot camp from my friends at synagogue and at the time, boot camp scared the heck out of me.
